The Ampelmaennschen, (or Ampelmännchen) literally means little traffic light man. It's the symbol shown on pedestrian signals in Germany

Originating in the former East, it is now used across the whole of Germany

Material : Synthetic Rubber and repurposed beech wood, hand finished and double lacquered

Size : approx 3 x 3 x 3cm (1 x 1 x 1”)

Not for unsupervised children

Care :

The beech wood is fine-sanded and treated with two coats of lacquer

To clean, wipe with damp cloth and allow to air dry. Don't soak in water

To refresh and protect the wood, it may later be fine sanded and re-treated with lacquer

Avoid extremes of light and temperature
